Meet Greg Gunn
Greg N. Gunn is a Utah-licensed attorney and decision coach who understands this uncertainty professionally—and personally.
Greg has practiced law in Utah since 2012. As owner of Gunn Law PLLC and through earlier work at respected Utah firms, he has represented clients in divorce, child-custody, and other complex disputes. He understands that a family-law problem is rarely only a legal problem—it can also involve grief, fear, identity, parenting, and an uncertain future.
From 2022 to 2025, Greg served as Associate General Counsel to the Health and Human Services Committee of the Utah State Legislature, researching public policy and drafting legislation involving health, behavioral health, and human services. He also provides pro bono legal support to people receiving counseling services.
Greg has personally been through the fear, heartbreak, and uncertainty that divorce—or a possible future divorce—can cause. He knows how quickly unanswered questions can become worst-case scenarios. His approach is calm, candid, and nonjudgmental: identify what you do not know, put it in context, and help you see a more manageable path forward.
Every Divorce Curious video call is treated as a limited-scope Utah legal consultation, even when most of the conversation is coaching. Greg can help you think clearly and provide legal perspective within the consultation’s defined scope. The call does not enroll Greg for court representation or create an ongoing engagement.
“You do not need to arrive with a decision. We can begin with the questions.”
A calm first step
Connect immediately when Greg is online, or choose a private time that works for you.
Provide only the identity details needed to ensure Greg has not previously spoken with your spouse.
Talk face to face. Ask what has been keeping you awake and begin replacing uncertainty with perspective.
Two kinds of support
Sometimes you need help thinking. Sometimes you need to understand the law. Greg will tell you clearly which conversation you’re having.
Clarify priorities, prepare for hard conversations, and consider possible paths without being pushed toward a particular decision.
Ask questions about Utah divorce law, common issues, and court procedures within the limited scope of your video consultation.
You can begin without deciding
